Donations accepted December 5-24

We’re partnering with our friends in Ukraine to meet specific needs of their community in Kyiv. As these churches continue to face power outages and look ahead to cold winter temperatures, warm children’s outerwear are frequently requested items. We’re going to ship boxes of kids clothes directly to these churches to distribute in their community.

New or used clothes are acceptable. Raid your local Good Will/Thrift Store! Please, select things of good quality. Natural fibers, like wool and cotton, have better thermal qualities than synthetic fibers, like polyester or nylon.

Here is a basic list of helpful items for children ages 3-16 – think WARM & OUTDOOR GEAR with all of these items (Winter temps of 20-30 degrees):

• Jacket*
• Hat & Mittens or Gloves*
• Shoes*
• Scarves
• Socks

*Most important/highest priority items

If you’re donating new & used items, please keep them separate as we will need to sort them for shipping.

Donations accepted:

NWCC Office (10109 Morrisville Parkway, Apex) – Any day & time

– Collection boxes will be inside the office and on the outdoor stage. If the office is not open, please put your donations inside the boxes on the stage and be sure to fill out the information on the clipboard.

Sundays at White Oak Elementary School – 9:30-11:30am (December 11 and 18)

Donations will also be accepted on Christmas Eve at NWCC’s Outdoor Christmas Eve Celebration (5pm).

Share Fund donations in December will be directed to partners in Ukraine to purchase blankets, generators, and food – and to meet other physical needs in their communities.
